Come join us for a Community Run Led by Volunteer Coaches of the San Quentin Prison Running Club!
AFTER THE RUN, enjoy refreshments, a video screening and Q&A with the coaches.
A special edition of the weekly free short, after-work run sponsored by A Runner’s Mind will be led by the volunteer coaches of San Quentin’s 1000 Mile Club, the prison’s running club. The event highlights the documentary film in production, SAN QUENTIN MARATHON, about the making of marathon runners inside the prison.
After the run, all are invited to a reception, which will include a video screening of the film’s trailer and a Q&A with the San Quentin coaches -- who are all veteran marathoners and ultra-marathoners -- and filmmaker Christine Yoo, as well as complimentary refreshments.
