Comedy for a Cause

SEE EVENT DETAILS
We are excited to present stand up comedians Feel Woods, Krista Fatka, David Roth, Emily Catalano, Jeff Dean and Mean Dave! Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 6:30pm, please be on time. Bring I.D.

The doors of the club will be open throughout the performance, it may get a little chilly, so be sure to bring a warm cardigan/sweater!

Feel Woods is not  ashamed to admit that he's a stuttering comedian straight out the streets of Oakland, California. Perhaps the only one. His self deprecating stories and tales on growing up in inner city Oakland, his fantastic stage presence, great engery has earned him a spot as a 'featured performer' at the 2014 SF Sketchfest and a regular at the historic 500 seat Great Star Theater in China Town. He's also opened for legends like Hannibal Buress at the San Jose Improv and Paul Mooney at the Black Repertory Theater in Berkeley 3 times (he gives Paul weed in trade for stage time).. This summer you can catch him at the Punch line Sf. Cobb's Comedy Club Sf, and all over the Bay Area/ Country him and his #HellaFunny crew performing monthly at the luxury Palace of Fine Arts and the Battery. In 2015 his dream came true.

Krista Fatka is an Oakland-based comic and writer. With over a decade of performance experience in circus and theater, she’s as comfortable on stage as she is in a room full of clowns. Which is to say, pretty comfy. She produces a regular show at The San Francisco Punch Line called The Charm Offensive.  She has performed at festivals in the Bay Area like SF Sketchfest, Outside Lands, and The San Francisco International Comedy Competition.

David Roth is a San Francisco-based comedian who's performed stand-up at Outside Lands, SF Sketchfest, and The Sacramento Comedy Festival. David has written two Super Bowl commercials, jokes performed by SNL's Colin Jost and Michael Che, and has collaborated with comedy legends like Bob Odenkirk, JB Smoove, and Jim Gaffigan. David also co-wrote a song with Sir Mix A Lot, who refers to him as “The guy that tried to ruin my career.”

Emily Catalano's comedy addresses a wide variety of life's most enjoyable topics: breakups, failed relationships, and ex-lovers. She is becoming known in San Francisco for her smart joke writing and her veritable dead pan delivery. She won first place at the 2017 Rooster T. Feathers New Talent Competition and was a featured performer in SF Sketchfest.

Jeff Dean is a San Francisco-based comedian. Originally from Reno, Nevada, Jeff learned his signature comedic timing and wit from renowned playground bullies Blake, Jason, and Chad. Jeff hosts 2 monthly stand up showcases, Talking Loudly with Jeff & James in San Francisco, and Overly Sensitive with Jeff & Justin at Comedy Oakland.
Mean Dave is a stand-up comedian from the SF Bay Area.  He is a regular at the Punch Line in SF and Sacramento and has opened for Judy Tenuta, Big Jay Oakerson and Neil Hamburger.  He is also not a fan of flowery bios, so let's just say he's made people laugh and if fate permits it, he will make you laugh too.

THE END.
