One thing comedians and musicians have in common is that they both play a lot of dive bars at the beginning of their careers-yet rarely do they play the same ones. That could change now that the Caravan Lounge, San Jose's loveable, grungy live music spot, is offering their stage-or rather floor-to comedians every Wednesday night. The night is hosted by comedian Ato Diaba Walker, who ran a similar open mic comedy night for five years at the Brit. Comedians can sign up before or during the event (first-come, first-serve) and try out their comedy chops in front of an actual audience. There will be one seasoned headliner every week. This week it's local Pete Munoz. (Aaron Carnes)
