In Colossus, Choreographer Mica Sigourney, Performer Silk Worm and Stylist Maryam Rostami create jokes in the grass and nightlife in the afternoon, as the choreography reckons with its new home out of doors.
Colossus is two daytime non-dragged drag queens with a wheelbarrow instead of a stage on a ketamine fueled tiny odyssey across San Francisco.
Colossus is queer kin-making between audience and deedee and googoo, two rakish scamps in designer sneakers lurking, noonday monsters working on something large and epic. Something massive but vestigial, inviting you, the audience, to repurpose pieces of an unrealized architecture of great expectation. Plain speak: All your lost plans.
Colossus will expose itself in an undisclosed performance site in ?????? ???? ????, with minotaurs and centaurs and sex and drugs. It's Abstract Apocalypse Art. You may just experience the complete and final destruction of the world to be, leaving you with the Sunday morning groggies of what the world was just.
