COMEDIAN COLIN QUINN BRINGS HIS ALL-NEW STAND-UP SHOW, ONE IN EVERY CROWD, TO AMERICAN CONSERVATORY THEATER’S STRAND THEATER
“This easygoing alumnus of ‘Saturday Night Live’ brings his own distinctive every-guy’s perspective to the galumphing march of civilization.” —The New York Times
"The raspy-voiced comedian delivers his distinctive combination of killer one-liners and astute observations.” — The Hollywood Reporter
From MTV’s Remote Control to Saturday Night Live to Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd, Colin Quinn has been making audiences laugh for over three decades. He’s been on Broadway with Irish Wake and Colin Quinn Long Story Short and off Broadway with Colin Quinn Unconstitutional and Colin Quinn The New York Story. Colin can be seen in the recurring role of Hermie on HBO’s Girls, opposite Amy Schumer in Judd Apatow’s Trainwreck, and in Sandy Wexler with Adam Sandler. Colin Quinn The New York Story (directed by Jerry Seinfeld) and Colin Quinn Unconstitutional are now streaming on Netflix and his web series Cop Show can be seen on lstudio.com. His first and last book, The Coloring Book, is available from Grand Central Publishing.
“Bringing Colin Quinn back to San Francisco for the first time in a decade and adding him to our growing roster of @TheStrand artists is a real coup for A.C.T.,” says Associate Artistic Director Andy Donald. “Colin’s unique history of blending incisive stand-up with compelling and personal storytelling on the Broadway stage makes him an ideal fit for The Strand, and opens doors for us to offer audiences more world-class comedy and solo work in our intimate space. I can’t wait for Bay Area audiences to experience this one-of-a-kind artist.”
