Coding, AI, and Electronics: Technical Skill Course

Available to those who have completed 10th grade and up

Free for current Galaxy Explorers, 25% off for Galaxy Explorer Alumni

Coding, AI and Electronics starts with students learning the fundamentals of coding using Python, and builds towards real-world applications that combine hardware, data, and artificial intelligence. In the first part of the course, students learn basic coding concepts using guided lessons and coding exercises, some of which relate to general space science. As students establish a baseline with coding principles, they begin exploring how AI can be used to recognize and process images with hands-on projects. Finishing the course, everything is tied together by fabricating and coding a working weather station. Using various sensors, students will learn how to collect, clean, and analyze data, then apply AI techniques to draw conclusions, identify patterns, or make simple predictions.

This educational program is offered through the Oakland Space Academy. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
