The City of San Rafael and GWC invite you to Coastal Cleanup Day!
Coastal Cleanup Day is an annual event in California and around the country. Everyone helps keep waterways and shorelines clean.
Clean one of San Rafael’s hidden treasures. Join members of the Gallinas Watershed Council, the volunteer neighborhood stewards of Las Gallinas Creek who regularly kayak and clean the creek.
You’ll be amazed how much fun it is cleaning up the creek with canoes, kayaks and rowboats, pulling the trash out as we paddle down the stream.
Bring your own kayak, canoe or rowboat (and life vest), or join a group that will clean on land walking nearby paths. Help remove trash from this sensitive creek and marsh which provide habitat for birds and other wildlife.
RSVP:
Alex, GWC Tel 415 578 2580 or 415 499 0838
