You are invited to join us for a special event, where we will take you on a journey deep into the heart of the ancient redwood forests. These towering trees are at the forefront of fighting against the effects of climate change, and we are excited to show you how the North Coast Redwoods District team is working to restore and preserve these magnificent ecosystems.
On June 16th at 1 PM, we will be hosting a Facebook Livestream event that will take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of how the team is transforming previously logged redwood forests of densely-packed spindly trees back into their rightful place as the world's leading carbon sequestration ecosystem. You will learn about the importance of these forests in mitigating climate change, and the innovative strategies the team is using to protect biodiversity and regulate water flow and quality.
