Saturday Socials are our way of giving back to the community that so enthusiastically supports us- CQ
On the second Saturday of every month, Cleophus Quealy Beer co. of San Leandro joins forces with a local non profit organization to raise both funds and awareness for their efforts to make the Bay Area a better place.
On Saturday, November 10th from 12-6pm, Cleophus Quealy Beer Co. is partnering with Boots to Brews in honor of Veterans Day. Boots to Brews is a non-profit, founded by veterans, with the goal of inspiring other veterans into new hobbies for positive mental and personal benefits, through providing resources to engage in the art of brewing and other hobbies as a form of therapeutic activity.
For the event, Cleophus Quealy will be hosting a day of activities, including a Cornhole Tournament with CA Beer Society and a Home Brew Competition judged by CQ’s own brewers.
How it Works
Cleophus Quealy does things a little different during Saturday Socials. Please keep in mind that this event is a benefit for Boots to Brews and the event is tailored to best support the non-profit partner.
For $20, you'll receive a Cleophus Quealy mason jar plus two tokens for full beers at the bar, and make a donation to Boots to Brews.
Tokens for additional beers can be purchased at $5 each.
Cornhole tournament has $20 entry fee. This is a direct donation to Boots to Brews
Raffle tickets will be sold, for $2, $5 and $10, with prizes ranging from CQ beer and swag to a handcrafted Cornhole set from K&L Cornhole Boards. All raffle proceeds will go directly to Boots to Brews.
Home Brew Competition is FREE, entry deadline Nov 3rd.
