Chances are you've done one at the turn of a new year or are considering one as the dread of bathing suit season looms over us. Yes, detoxes can help you lose a few stubborn pounds, but research also suggests they can also add quality years to your life if they are done properly. Do you know the industry secrets for cleansing properly?
This four-part series will give you information on the benefits of detoxing as well as making sure you are not simply reabsorbing those toxins back into your bloodstream. Equally important, it will teach you how to lead a less toxic lifestyle. After all, why spend time, money and energy detoxifying only to fill your life back up with toxic chemicals, toxic thoughts, and toxic people?
This session will cover the following:
Why is detoxification important?
What toxins are hidden on our plates and in our drinking water?
How can we protect and empower ourselves?
The session will include an Ayurvedic cleansing meal. Not your typical cleanse because it's delicious. It's a great cleanse for late early spring as it's warming but super easy on digestion. Digestion uses A LOT of the body's energy so this simple and delicious dish gives the body a chance to take a break- while still being nourished- and without feeling hungry and deprived.
