Turkish American Gezi Platform is setting off 2018 with an amazing documentary! Join us on January 24 to watch “Turkey on the Edge” by Imre Azem. Turkey on the Edge (with English subtitles) documents the last five years of the Turkish state under an erosion of liberties and the consolidation of power. The documentary takes risks to give us a view from within a country struggling to find its own identity. Watch the trailer here.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director Imre Azem via Skype.
The theater, Variety Club Preview Room, is located on Market Street across from the Montgomery BART/MUNI station. Street parking is free after 7:00 pm.

There are no ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event. Except for student tickets.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Street parking is free after 7:00 pm (6:00pm in some areas) and Variety Club Preview Room isacross from the Montgomery BART/MUNI station.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Your registration is transferrable only for the event you registered for before the event begins.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope!
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, since we are a small non-profit, we can't refund tickets.
