CHRIS "KID" REID is a multi-talented performer whose work spans several mediums. His accomplishments have been varied and distinctive. Originally a member of the highly successful rap duo Kid-N-Play, Chris took his success in to the arena of feature film as the star of the groundbreaking urban opus Houseparty. Two successful sequels followed as well as a Warner Bros. feature Class Act. All four films have enjoyed huge popularity in theatrical release, cable and on video.
Christopher then turned his attention to television. He played the role of "Joltin' Joe" in the NBC… More miniseries THE TEMPTATIONS. Chris recently hosted 24 episodes of Dick Clark's YOUR BIG BREAK, a musical talent show where his charm and quick wit proved to be a great match for the series. He's made numerous sitcom guest spots on Sister Sister, Smart Guy, and Martin. He has guest hosted NBC'S LATER as well as being a frequent panelist on Politically Incorrect.
These days Christopher has been flexing his stand up comedy muscles, creating a unique nightclub act that combines humor, hip hop and audience participation. Crowds in the comedy clubs around the country are embracing yet another aspect of "Kid's" creativity.
