Cornerstone Sonoma, the dynamic wine country marketplace featuring a collection of world-class shopping, boutique wine tasting rooms, artisanal food, art-inspired gardens, wedding and event venues and home to MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand awarded restaurant, Folktable, is delighted to announce its holiday program, Christmas in Sonoma. Starting December 2nd through December 10th, Cornerstone will host a variety of holiday activities perfect for families and friends.
On December 10, enjoy a memorable afternoon of wine exploration with the renowned author and Food & Wine's wine editor, Ray Isle. In his new book, THE WORLD IN A WINEGLASS: The Insider's Guide to Artisanal, Sustainable, Extraordinary Wines to Drink Now, Ray demonstrates how to choose more delicious, interesting, and environmentally friendly wines without breaking the bank. Ray's affable, accessible guide to finding unusual or undiscovered varieties offers a window into a whole new fascinating world for wine enthusiasts everywhere.
During the event Ray will be joined by Leslie Sbrocco, host of Check Please Bay Area and regular wine expert for NBC's TODAY Show, to discuss the book, and festive holiday wine pairings. Folktable's executive chef, Casey Thompson, will also speak on how wine and food enhance one's dining experience. This exclusive event will include a tasting of some of Ray's favorite California wines and light bites provided by Folktable Catering. The book will be available for purchase through the event and Ray will be available for a meet-and-greet.
The event will be held at The Barn at Harrow Cellars. Tickets are priced at $135 per person, which includes wine tasting (up to 3 wines), light bites, and an author meet and greet. Additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase.
