Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a free birthday party for the community, sponsored by Google. Admission will be free to the museum all day with a host of special activities planned throughout the day.
Activities include:
· Live music by GRAMMY AWARD® Nominated Singer/Songwriter PapaHugs,Giant birthday cake decorating Over 5 foot tall cardboard and felt cake for children and families to decorate over and over throughout the day)
· Appearance by Potter the Otter (mid-afternoon)
· Birthday hat making
· Birthday song and confetti cannon blasts at 12pm,1pm, and 2pm.
· Giant birthday card to be created by visitors
· Big bubble station
· Creative corn husk doll making
· Party decorations throughout the museum including environmentally friendly reusable balloons, a twirling “25†and a visual retrospective of the past 25 years
