Reopening Day Celebration at the Children's Creativity Museum!
Experience XOXO with Free Outdoor Activities
The Children's Creativity Museum is excited to welcome visitors back with a special exhibition, XOXO: An Exhibit About Love & Community. Come celebrate the exhibit's debut on Saturday, February 19 with live entertainment, child-friendly activities, and free carousel rides!
In the courtyard from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the Children's Creativity Museum and The Mexican Museum will host free XOXO-inspired keepsake craft activities with a live musical performance from Mónica María, in partnership with the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.
At the Carousel Plaza from 11:30am to 2:00pm, attendees can enjoy free rides on our LeRoy King Carousel and purchase shaved ice from Kona Ice food truck.
Inside the museum from 10:00am to 4:00pm, explore the power of feelings with XOXO: An Exhibit About Love & Community that invites children (and their caregivers) to take a deep breath and focus on the now. You'll work together through hands-on multimedia activities to spark conversations, share emotions, and most of all, play and nurture your child's creative confidence. You may feel whimsical and silly; heartfelt and emotional; maybe even a little vulnerable. You are safe to explore it all here.
