SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Arc of San Francisco (see times)
SF Rotaract will be putting on a Charity Poker Tournament, where 100% of the proceeds will benefit Slum Soccer.

Slum Soccer is a non profit which operates in India, and tackles the issue of homelessness (especially among children) through the medium of soccer. Soccer empowers participants by enhancing their fitness, social and communication skills, and reintegrates them within the community. Slum Soccer tournaments are organized in numerous states across India and the best players are selected to compete in the Homeless World Cup. The results have been tremendous in bringing a positive influence to the lives of nearly 70,000 men, women and children in over 63 districts all around India. The founder of this organization received the “2012 Reliance Real Hero Award’ from the Reliance Foundation, hosted by CNN and IBN. Among some of their partners, we find Tottenham Hotspur (English soccer team), the Homeless World Cup, National Children Football Association and many others.

The buy-in to this event will be $50, with re-buy's accepted through the first 90 minutes.

Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds go to Slum Soccer
