The evening will feature Ceres CEO Mindy Lubber in dialogue with futurist and thought leader Alex Steffen. Mindy and Alex will discuss the striking wake-up call of the latest IPCC report findings, and explore how Ceres is actively collaborating with and mobilizing our corporate and investor partners to accelerate the pace and scale of climate action. Mindy Lubber is CEO and President and a founding board member of Ceres. Under her leadership, Ceres has experienced rapid growth and launched visionary and practical guides to help investors and companies succeed in the 21st century global economy. A recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Change, Mindy is a recognized thought leader and speaks regularly on sustainability issues to high-level business and financial leaders at the New York Stock Exchange, United Nations, World Economic Forum and other venues. Prior to Ceres, Mindy held various government and nonprofit leadership positions, including EPA Regional Administrator, and was Founder and CEO of Green Century Capital Management.
Alex Steffen is an award-winning writer, speaker and thought leader. He has written thousands of pieces, been profiled in numerous media interviews and given hundreds of talks to audiences around the world. Over the last ten years he has also advised some of the world’s most forward-looking institutions, investors, philanthropists and NGOs.
