The Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph is a large Roman Catholic church located in Downtown San Jose. The minor basilica is the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose. The basilica is named for Saint Joseph, patron saint of the universal church.
Sunday mass is held at 8am & 11:30am in English and 10am & 1pm in Spanish.
Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph will schedule weddings for people who are registered members of the Cathedral parish as well as those who attend other parishes. If the Cathedral is not where you regularly worship, we ask that you please consult with the priest from your own parish to inquire about his availability to celebrate your wedding at the Cathedral and oversee your marriage preparation. We recommend allowing at least eight months to one year for the scheduling of your wedding.
