Crafting a beautiful cappuccino starts with a proper espresso and perfectly steamed milk. In this hands-on experience you will practice a balanced pour as well as discover latte art techniques to transform your ordinary coffee beverage into a work of art.

Your Professor:
Heidi Rasmussen, illycaffè Senior Manager of Education and Quality
With 25 years maintaining quality in the cup at illy, Heidi Rasmussen oversees the development and implementation of the company’s education, quality and training initiatives. Heidi’s career with illy began in 1992 when she joined the company in its Seattle office as a Technical Manager; she has also served as a Sales Manager and Quality Assurance Manager for illy in North America. Heidi’s coffee career began over 30 years-ago in Seattle as one of Starbucks first Baristas and trainer when it was a five store chain. Before joining illy, Heidi pioneered the way for women in the espresso business as a Service Manager for Visions Espresso Service, repairing and maintaining commercial espresso machines.
