Capacity Building Workshop - Measuring Impact

Our Full Circle Fund Capacity Building Workshops are the ultimate working sessions. With the help of our expert facilitators, we've crafted 2-hour sessions focused on solutions to on specific operational issues almost all small nonprofits are struggling with. To join our facilitators we fill the room with 20+ strategic volunteers and 10+ nimble nonprofit leaders to workshop together on the night's operational topic. 
Who should come? Empathetic volunteers ready to act as thought partners. Nonprofit leaders who could use support with the topic of the session in their day to day work. Executive directors, program managers, development officers, and grant writers are encouraged to participate on behalf of their nonprofits.



November 1st - Measuring Nonprofit Impact 
"How Will You Know It Worked?"
Successful grant applications require top-notch answers to every funder question. Increasingly, this means showing a rock-solid measurement and evaluation strategy that will give funders confidence that you're ready for their investment.In this 2-hour workshop, nonprofit participants will develop the metrics they need for more powerful grant applications and funder conversations. Nonprofit participants should come prepared with a specific grant or project proposal, for which we will co-create high-quality metrics. Through this process, participants will learn a replicable system for establishing the right metrics for any project.



LOGISTICS 
Participants should arrive on time & plan to attend the full session.
Consulting volunteers will receive your partner organizations name 48 hours prior to the session. We expect that you'll familiarize yourselves with their organization's missions prior to joining us as well as setting aside time for two follow-up phone calls where you'll serve as an accountability partner for your nonprofit.

Our Facilitators 
This session will be co-lead by Full Circle Fund Members and ReContext Data Solutions Principals David Adler & Mary Westervelt.
ReContext Data Solutions supports mission-driven organizations in accelerating their success through purposeful data analytics. ReContext was launched by David Adler and Mary Westervelt, who witnessed first-hand the possibility for transforming mission-driven organizations through high-quality data analytics. After studying mathematics, David dedicated 20 years to the public education sector, leading significant transformations of highly impacted schools through targeted improvement strategies. Mary has worked in and with mission-driven start-ups since 2003, focusing on connecting heart-led visions to quantitative outcomes.
