Speaking opportunities 2018
Jan 30th and 31st  3rd Annual Women of Influence Conference 10-5*
This is the 3rd annual conference and by all indications a speaker favorite (we booked all both days in a matter of weeks in 2017). We’ve decided to do it again this year as a 2 day conference (if we get enough requests we may open up a 3rd day again). The audience as always will be women business owners and professional women. *Please note: Everyone present (with the exception of event producer Tony Wilkins) will be a woman. Men are allowed to attend however the podium belongs to the ladies.

March 29- The Big Money Conference 10-5
Mortgage Brokers, Insurance Agents, Real Estate Professionals, Financial professionals and anyone dealing with how to make, save and build wealth. Topics can range from sales tips to building wealth thru real estate to tax professionals are welcome to share their tips.
June 6th & 7th -4th Annual Small Business Empowerment Conference 10-5
This is our big annual conference for small business owners looking to generate more revenue, run their businesses more effectively and make connections with their target audience. We will be inviting small business owners but will also invite representatives from corporations looking to attract small business clients to this year’s event. If you attended previous events then you know that they are always very positive. We expect 2018 to be even larger.
July 31st Speaker's Conference
The Small Business Forum Radio (SBFR) Conference is for speakers who want to get in front of business owners, solo-prenuers and corporate leaders to share their message. A great way to gain more exposure and build a corporate clientele while building their brand. We are booking speakers that work with speakers and speakers that can speak to the business community. Topics can vary so long as they are applicable.
Sept 18th-19th The Silicon Valley Real World Startup & Small Business Success Summit 10-5 @ Techcode located 1172 Castro Mountain View
Today’s entrepreneur has many challenges to contend with in addition to securing investors. If you’re the owner of a small business or a start-up, you’re at a disadvantage when it comes to securing capital, brand recognition, media exposure and sales because the market is saturated with good ideas and competition. As the owner of a small business or a start-up, you need several things to stay (and grow) your business including….

Capital
A solid business plan
Sales consistency
Resources and information to help support your work
Connections to people that can help take your business to the next level
A clear business strategy that will not only help grow your business but also help you weather the rough times
A solid marketing and sales strategy
Team support to help you run your business efficiently
Products and services that customers can say yes to.

Speakers must speak to topics applicable to small business owners and start ups. Our event in 2017 was so well received that we're doing it again this year.
Nov. 13th Writer's Conference
Whether you’re a blogger, an author ,a journalist or looking to market and share your work and ideas with the business community this conference is for you. Perfect for speakers who are looking to share what they know about writing for profit or looking to build their brand.
Dec. 19th  Sales Strategies Summit 10-5
If you have great tips for closing more sales, we want to hear from you and more importantly, we want you to share them with our audience of speakers and business owners

Deadline is 3/10/17
SPECIAL OFFER- REGISTER AS A SPEAKER BY March 10th 2017(for 3 or more talks) AND RECEIVE 12 WEEKS OF FREE ADVERTISING ON MY RADIO SHOW- SMALL BUSINESS FORUM RADIO REACHING OVER 250,000 LISTENERS GLOBALLY.

What you need to know to make the events profitable and rewarding

Speakers are booked according to when they register. Therefore speakers that register first will be booked first. No exceptions
Please mark your calendars so you don't over book.
Each event will be held at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco unless otherwise noted
Speakers are responsible for their own travel, food and accommodations.
Each speaker is expected to help promote the event on social media and thru e-mail blasts. Posting on social media is great but is not as effective as e-mailing directly. This is to insure that each speaker is connecting with prospects they want to do business with (only you know who your target audience is so be sure to reach out accordingly).
Speakers will be booked on a first come first serve basis. Just register and you’re done. Speakers I’m currently representing thru my booking service will have first right of refusal and then speakers I’ve worked with in the past and finally the general speaking community
We will contact speakers at least once a month with updates as we get closer to each event-generally 90 days from the date of the event(i.e. scheduled time to speak etc.)
Each speaker will have 30 min to speak
Each speaker can make an offer at the end of the presentation
We encourage each speaker to sell by educating the audience. Attendees get turned off when they feel they’re hearing a sales pitch.
We recommend that you refrain from using a Powerpoint presentation and simply focus on content. Please note: You can use Powerpoint but we ask that you bring your own equipment and set up in the back of the room before your presentation. This way, you’re not using up your time setting up. If you would like a table at the event, you can lease one for $199 per day
We expect these spots to go very quickly so be sure to register soon. In other words, sending an e-mail telling me you’re interested will not  guarantee a slot. Current clients will be booked first and then general public speakers (speakers I don’t rep currently). So again until you register it's not a guarantee.
Your topic should be applicable to the audience. Please be sure to submit a brief topic description, your title of expertise (i.e. business development strategist) and a picture for the flyer by Nov 1st 2016. We will send everyone a copy of the flyer when it’s done however we will not make changes after it’s completed. So whatever you send will be what is listed. Please e-mail to [email protected]
Each speaker may invite up to 5 people to attend as your guest to ensure that everyone has a decent number of attendees for their presentation. We expect to have at least 100+ attendees at the 2 day conferences.
Speakers will receive a copy of the attendee list after the event
Everyone will be sent a link to forward to their contact list
We have table space to rent for speakers that want to showcase and sell their products and services on the spots for$199 per day.

Thanks again and I’ll be sending everyone updates, changes etc., as they happen. Want some tips for making money at your next speaking event? Be sure to get a copy of my new book The Career Whisperer: Behind the Podium-A step by step guide for making money as a speaker available at http://tinyurl.com/h69d2nn .
