Come to the Arboretum of UC Santa Cruz as they present two lecture in one evening: a California Naturalist Program and a Ray Collett Rare & Extraordinary Plants Lecture Series presentation. This lecture will shed light on the geologic and geomorphic settings that drive this incredible diversity of regional and endemic vegetation. Audience members will be led on a tour around the state to view interesting sights like vernal pools, chaparral, redwood forests, montane confer forests, alpine and subalpine settings, and oak woodlands.
