Lights Down Low Summer Sessions just keeps getting hotter and hotter. This time walk with us as we bring the party hammer down hard and smash our brains to pieces. This is a one night dance music extravaganza and we cannot wait for all of us to come together and share in the pleasure. One ticket gets you inside, but the night will be priceless!
CAJMERE
Is HERE! Curtis Jones is the Chicago house master who has served it up hot and bothered since the 90's as Cajmere and also as Green Velvet. If you have ever been dancing in the past 20 years you have heard one of Cajmere's creations on every dance floor, everywhere, all over the universe.
"Coffee Pot" (It's Time for the Percolator) has blown minds from the underground to above and back agin. Go ahead, give it another listen. You can't stop jacking. You won't stop jacking! His hits as both Cajmere and his flamboyant green haired alter-ego Green Velvet are many and unstoppable house music anthems. Brighter Days, Flash, Answering Machine, La La Land, Day By Day. The best!
There is a clear message in each song he writes, each release he produces, and every performance he gives; it is all about love, joy and putting others first. Our good friend and great producer/DJ, Harvard Bass is back and it's going to be big. Putting out tunes on Tiga's Turbo records as well as making tracks with Cajmere/Green Velvet (SEE ABOVE), our man can do no wrong. Deep ghetto house grooves, wild ass drum programming, and just quality tunes have people like Boys Noize and Richie Hawtin singing his praises and dropping his bombs on unsuspecting populace on dance floors from coast to coast. Last time Harvard Bass came to town was one wild show and we can't wait to see what treats he has in store for us this time.
MATRIXXMAN
Do you long for the future? MATRiXXMAN might just provide an ephemeral glimpse. Purportedly trapped in a realm of unending 3D avatars roaming lost amongst dystopian digital wastelands. MATRiXXMAN, a man known IRL as Charles McCloud Duff of 5kinAndBone5, has since spliced off into his own identity in which he pledges to provide brutally futuristic interpretations of classic WBMX era Chicago house and Detroit techno. Armed with releases on labels including Unknown To The Unknown, Grizzly, Soo Wavey and forthcoming on Fifth Wall -- it is clear he is on the warpath and well on his way to liberating us all from the so called "matrixx".
This is a huge lineup and tickets are moving exceptionally fast so please do not snooze on this powerful nite. We are going in and pulling out all the stops. There is going to be surprises and weirdness to spare. Come and get some!
