Set in 1931 Germany and based on Christopher Isherwood's Berlin Stories, Cabaret explores a moment of divine decadence through the interwoven stories of a third-rate chanteuse, an American writer, the inhabitants of a once-respectable boarding house, and the denizens of a seedy Berlin nightclub. Led by the enigmatic and dazzling Emcee, and featuring well-known classics such as "Don't Tell Mama," "Maybe This Time," and the title song, wilkommen, bienvenue, welcome to Cabaret!
Single tickets for Cabaret are $32 for adults in advance, or $36 at the door; youth tickets for ages 18 and under are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Discounts available for groups of 15 or more. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. All performances take place at CCCT's intimate and fully accessible theatre in the Flynn building located at 951 Pomona Avenue (cross street Moeser) in El Cerrito.
