Taste 20 different Cabernets from Bordeaux to multiple countries and regions. Stroll table to table at your own pace exploring the varietal profile as well as differences in structure and style as they relate to varying soils, climates, and elevations. Enjoy an assortment of bites to pair with your wines and purchase your favorite bottles in the wine bazaar to take home.
Edu-Tasting - Super Seconds of Bordeaux 3:00-5:00
The 1st Growths of Bordeaux are not in the financial reach of mere mortals anymore, but we still want memorable, complex, age-worthy wines. Join us as we explore both 2nd Growth chateaux and 2nd labels of top producers throughout Bordeaux. In this seminar taste 4-6 wines as we present when, how and why 2nd labels became common and how they qualitatively and stylistically differ from 1st labels.
