The Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco is excited to announce its upcoming exhibition, Bystander, which opens June 4th to coincide with Streetfoto Festival 2018. The exhibition, inspired by the landmark street photography book, Bystander: A History of Street Photography by curator/educator Colin Westerbeck and photographer Joel Meyerowitz, examines the genre of street photography through the eyes of nearly fifty photographers. The exhibition will comprise early iconic prints alongside recent work by artists who are actively photographing on the streets today in San Francisco and abroad.
