The well known and loved free summer festival, "Burlingame On The Avenue," is back for another year of festivities on August 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"Burlingame On The Avenue," formerly known as the Burlingame Artzfest, will be lighting up the streets of downtown Burlingame with hundreds of unique artisans displaying hand-crafted wares, delicious foods and beverages, and various live entertainment acts.
New this year will be three stages of exciting live music. Back by popular demand is the Community and Cultural Stage, located at Burlingame Avenue and California Drive, where local Peninsula superstars and previous winners of the Burlingame Idol competition will showcase their talents. The main stage will anchor the festival entertainment and will be filled with various professional bands and award-winning musical acts. Plus, a new, third stage has been added at the corner of El Camino and Burlingame Avenue which will highlight an eclectic mix of live performances.
Children of all ages will enjoy different rides, games and family themed entertainment and activities at the expanded, interactive Children's Playland area.
"Burlingame On The Avenue" is hosted by the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce and is free to the community.
