Youth Recognizes National Anti Bullying Month with
Screening of Bully and a Panel Discussion
Event: The Japanese American Museum of San Jose Youth will host a screening of
the film Bully, and a panel discussion followed by an answer and question
session with education and mental health professionals

Background: The mission of the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) is to
collect, preserve and share Japanese American art, history and culture with an emphasis on the greater Bay Area.
The documentary film Bully, directed by Sundance and Emmy-award winning filmmaker, Lee Hirsch, brings human scale to this startling statistic, offering an intimate, unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families.
