Learned the early basics of JavaScript, and interested in learning how to use that to build things? Want to build a game that you can play from the comfort of your very own web browser? Then come to Rithm for a night of introductory JavaScript!
At this event, we’ll use JavaScript to build an interactive puzzle game, ‘Lights Out’. Along the way, we’ll use examples of functions, if statements, and loops. We’ll also learn how JavaScript interacts with a web page via the use of event handlers and the DOM API. By the end of the night, you’ll have a working game that you can share with your friends.
