The Randall Museum's annual Bug Day event has morphed into Bug Month and it's gone virtual! During the month of May, families can celebrate insects at home while sheltering in place with hands-on science and art activities, games, contests, demonstrations, and more.
Join online for insect-inspired fun each week to learn how important these little creatures are to the earth and to our survival. Kids and their families can make their own bug-related crafts at home, see exotic insects, and learn how to take a scientific look at insects with encounters in their own backyard. Join the Randall Bug Brigade and post photos and crafts on the Randall's social media pages. Also, try the Roach Run, do a Flea High Jump and participate in your own Bug Olympics!
Bug Month will be happening throughout the month of May on the Randall Museum's Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts.
There will be a new bug-related theme each week with new hands-on activities that families can try at home. Check in each Friday to find out what bugs are featured and make new discoveries.
