Bubbles by the Bay is the first event to focus exclusively on West Coast Sparkling Wine.   Through educational seminars and two walkabout tastings, the event will highlight the deep roots of various regions regarded for their traditions in sparkling winemaking along with the new wave of innovative winemakers.  Bubbles by the Bay will bring a deeper understanding of why this is one of the fastest growing segments in the world of wine.    With San Francisco as the ultimate cosmopolitan backdrop, producers will have the opportunity to showcase their high quality wines to key Bay Area markets, along with an established group of regional and national media.

LOCAL KITCHEN - 330 1st Street #1, San Francisco, CA 94105
9:00AM – 10:30AM – Trade Seminar (Top trade/Invite only) – Interesting small batch labels
11:00AM – 12:30PM - Trade Seminar (Top trade/Invite only) – Reserved for larger production wines in the Market
1:00PM – 3:00PM – Trade Walkabout Tasting (200-250 guests)
6:30PM – 9:00PM – Consumer Walkabout Tasting (250-300 guests)
 
Please note: This registration form and participation fee is for the Trade and Consumer Walkabout Tastings only. The wine selections for the morning VIP Seminars will be hand selected by a panel comprised of event hosts, writers and winemakers.
WINE INFORMATION:
WINERIES MAY POUR UP TO 4 WINES
Wineries are to hand carry wines to the venue on the day of the event.  Bubbles by the Bay recommends nine (9) bottles for each of the trade and consumer walkabout tasting. 
Recommended 18 bottles TOTAL 


IT IS NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED THAT A WINEMAKER, OWNER OR WINERY PRINCIPAL ATTEND AND POUR AT THE EVENT

TABLE FEES ARE BASED OFF WINERY’S SPARKLING WINE PRODUCTION


ONLY SPARKLING WINES CAN BE FEATURED


TWO WINERIES WILL SHARE AN 8 FOOT TABLE.  PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS SPACE AND BRING MINIMAL TABLETOP MATERIALS


EACH WINERY HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING TWO WINERY REPRESENTATIVES TO BOTH THE TRADE AND CONSUMER TASTING


BUBBLES BY THE BAY WILL PROVIDE ICE, BUS BINS FOR BACK UP WINE AND TABLE TOP ICE CONTAINERS FOR SPARKLING THAT IS BEING SERVED
