Bruja’s Council at Artillery AG


A sacred gathering for those who identify as POC womyn on the journey to self discovery and healing. Councils have been in place since longer than we can remember and for good reason. The mission of Bruja’s Council is to create a safe space to honor the teachings of our ancestors and the medicine we each uniquely carry.
 
Come join us for October’s council, which will be held the day before Halloween and a few days before Dia de los Muertos.
 
The Experience:
We will be partaking in alter making and ritual. There will be an alter set up for each of the four directions plus alter honoring the ancestors. Womyn are asked to bring an item to share for one or all of the alters. (The items will be returned at the end of the evening.)
This is a ceremonial setting so we are asking women to honor it as a sober environment. There will be tea and snacks provided but feel free to bring some nourishing food or non-alcoholic beverages to share. The veils are thin around these times so please come willing and open to partake in sharing prayers and ritual with your fellow brujitas.
 
Bruja’s Toolkit
Bring with you :
·         A symbolic/ sacred item to place on alter
·         A white candle
·         A journal
·         Dress in ceremonial wear
