Bay Pointe Ballet, the Bay Area's newest professional ballet company, debuts with Bruce Steivel's Nutcracker. As reviewed by the Las Vegas Weekly, "Cozy and charming, this Nutcracker is scheduled to delight holiday audiences." This production will be held at the newly renovated San Mateo Performing Arts Center with a cast of 32 of the Bay Area's finest professional dancers. The production also features custom sets and costumes by renowned designer Alexandre Vassiliev and Tchiakovsky's most enduring score.
