The Bridge Project annually recruits the prime movers of American postmodernism to the Bay Area to teach and perform. Crossing discipline, geography and perspective, this year's event, titled Rewriting Dance, features Jeanine Durning, Deborah Hay, Alva Noe, Michele Steinwald, Gerald Casel, Maurya Kerr, Hope Mohr, Megan Nicely, Lauren Simpson and Maureen Whiting -- all working at the intersection of language and choreographic thinking.
