Join us to learn about Koa Life’s mission and how we are working with Susan G. Komen, UCSF, and Young Survival Coalition to foster a community of breast cancer patients and survivors. Koa Life, along with our supporters, are building an online community that connects patients with the right information at the right time after diagnosis, during treatments, and life after breast cancer. By right information we mean medically sound, tailored to that patient's individual diagnostics and needs, and compassionate and actionable.
Koa Life, a 501c3, was founded by Amanda West, a breast cancer survivor, as a result of the challenges she faced finding trustworthy, current, and relevant information after her diagnosis in 2012. Amanda hopes breast cancer patients and survivors get support and tailored information to make informed decisions that will impact the rest of their lives.
The lunch and learn will be a great opportunity to understand what happens to someone after a breast cancer diagnosis and ways to help your loved ones.
When you RSVP you will be asked to donate* $30.97, which includes lunch and a raffle ticket** with a chance to win one of over 21 prizes.
Panelists include
- Elly Cohen, Program Director of BreastCancerTrials.org and Assistant Professor at UCSF- Stephanie Reffey, Senior Director, Data Science and Impact, Susan G. Komen.- Sueann Mark, Young Survival Coalition Rise Advocate and Breast Imaging Nurse Navigator at UCSF
