This month, one of Boy Division's favorite recurring guests, DJ Andy T will join founder and resident DJ Xander. Amongst being a vinyl and audio head, Andy is celebrating 30 years on the turntables in San Francisco! After moving here from New York in 1988, his first gig was filling in for former I-Beam dj Brian Raffi. This led to residencies at the DNA Lounge, 1015 Folsom, the CW Saloon, and Pleasuredome. Andy has played for Pride at Civic Center several times, and opened shows for artists such as Erasure and Lime. Industry-DJs Owen & Tomas Diablo-Drag Show by Krylon Superstar + Thee Dark Dolls
Join the party when Dark Room once again fills San Francisco's legendary Cat Club SF with its notorious dark dancing and dangerous drag debauchery! This time, Dark Room's resident songsmith, Owen, is joined by Deejay TomasDiablo (from such long-running events as Strangelove and Bondage-a-Go-Go, a.k.a. BaGG), in supplying a whole night of dancin' beatz for your dancin' feetz in the form of goth, industrial, post-punk, & dark electro! Plus, the captivating KrylonSuperstar has joined THEE DARK DOLLS as host! And, the theme of the evening is Industry, so just wait until you see what they do with their performance art this time! This is a truly unique form of drag. It's a show you'll never forget! On top of that, every second Friday of the month, Dark Room teams up with the perfect partner in grime, Boy Division. Each party will take over one of the Cat Club's two rooms, so now you will have two great events in one place, and can move between them as easily as moving between rooms. This is THEE dark and radical dance party and everyone is welcome! This party is for queers, straights, and freaks of all kinds. Come ready!
