** PLEASE NOTE: THIS MONTH WE WILL BE MEETING ON A THURSDAY EVENING!**
Middle Readers! Join our Bookworms Book Club every month for author readings, pizza, and other fun activities! Come Thursday, October 10th at 6:00 PM for a special author visit from Rajani LaRocca, to present her novel, Midsummer's Mayhem!
ABOUT THE BOOK: Mimi loves to bake for her family, but when she harvests ingredients from the woods behind her house things start to get strange. This hilarious and cool middle grade novel is a modern re-telling of A Midsummer Night's Dream and is sure to delight even the pickiest readers... especially when reading is accompanied by snacking on treats from the book!
RSVP REQUIRED by Wednesday, October 9th. There is a $5 deposit to RSVP. If the child attends, the $5 will come back to them in the form of a store gift certificate. If they’re not able to attend or RSVP in advance, the money will be donated to The Children's Book Project, a foundation that builds literacy by providing free books to children.We're excited to see you the 10th!-EileenNext Up: Local debut author, Aimee Lucido presents her novel in verse, Emmy in the Key of Code!
