Bookworms Club: August 16th!
Middle Readers! Join our Bookworms Book Club the third Friday of every month for author readings, pizza, and other fun activities! Come Friday, August 16th at 6:00 PM for a special activity!
ABOUT THE ACTIVITY: School is almost back in session! Before you kick off the new school year, help us at Folio kick off the next season of Bookworms! I want to hear about what YOU are most interested in-- and so do other middle readers! This month we'll be working on a project to give you, the Folio Bookworms, a resource to share your favorite books and topics and hear from each other. Come by on August 16th to help design our "Folio Bookworms Recommends" display. BONUS: Every Bookworm gets to go home with a free advanced reader's copy of a middle reader book!
RSVP REQUIRED by Thursday, August 15th. There is a $5 deposit to RSVP. If the child attends, the $5 will come back to them in the form of a store gift certificate. If they’re not able to attend or RSVP in advance, the money will be donated to The Children's Book Project, a foundation that builds literacy by providing free books to children.We're excited to see you the 16th!-EileenNext Up: Travis Nichols comes to Folio for a Maze Quest extravaganza in September!
