Crafting a Year of Intention & Power: 12 Creative Salons - Elimination & Release
Monthly workshops with kindred spirits taught by well-known Bay Area artists exploring your possibilities and potential by creating your very own Book of Powers…
Unity teaches that every person has 12 Powers that, when developed and consciously used, can bring us to our highest potential as expressions of the Divine. This year, starting on February 25 and concluding in January 2018, you will have the opportunity to work with Unity minister/author Rev. Maggie Oman Shannon and several well-known local Intentional Creativity© teachers in constructing chapters for your very own Book of Powers, as we explore together how to craft a Power-full year!
Held at Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco on the third or fourth Saturday of each month (please check schedule for the exact date), a Bay Area artist and Intentional Creativity© teacher will lead you through an art activity exploring that month’s Power that will result, at the end of this year of exploration, in a book celebrating your 12 Powers of strength, wisdom, love, power, imagination, understanding, will, order, zeal/enthusiasm, elimination/release, life, and faith.
You are invited to attend any and all of these afternoons, and no previous art experience is necessary. Working with watercolor paper, watercolor and marker, each of us will create an illumination of image and word exploring these Powers… your Powers!
Each afternoon will open in a circle with refreshments and poetry so that we can get to know one another and support each other’s intentions. The time will always be from 1 to 6 p.m., and each session costs $75, which includes all art supplies. Join kindred spirits as we explore together the power of Intentional Creativity©, sacred practice and community in developing our Divine potential!
