Book Discussion: 'Why Be Jewish?'

Ruth Andrew Ellenson, author of "The Modern Jewish Girl's Guide to Guilt," and Ari Y. Kelman, Jim Joseph Chair in Education and Jewish Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, will discuss the late Edgar M. Bronfman's book "Why Be Jewish?"

Ms. Ellenson was Bronfman's collaborator on this reflection of what it means to be Jewish in the modern age. Jewish identity, ritual, faith, secularism and the future of the Jewish world will be addressed. The talk will be followed by a Q & A session.
