Welcome to Bollywood Sass! A new dance class that combines the distinct styles of Bollywood and hip-hop. Based in NYC, Bollywood Sass is coming to SF!!! In this high-energy workshop you'll rock out to one of the sassiest tunes to come out of Bollywood with the moves to match!
All levels are welcome.

12:15pm - 1:30pm: Choreography instruction

About the instructor:
Asees Singh discovered her passion for dance when she saw her sister perform Kathak, a traditional dance style from Northern India. At the age of eight she began performing at cultural shows across Southern California, and hasn't stopped moving her feet since! Her affinity for dance lead her to become a principal dancer for Los Angeles based dance troupe, Bollywood Step. There she performed on The Ellen Show and events at the Los Angeles County Museum of Arts, the Hollywood Bowl and the Lupus LA Orange Ball. Asees made her way to San Francisco and continued to pursue dance by participating in workshops taught by Funkanometry, an award-winning hip-hop team. Now based in NYC, she's excited to share her passion and love for dance through Bollywood Sass!
