Elyse Shafarman is certified in the Alexander Technique with a Masters Degree in Physiological Psychology and a 10-year career in modern dance. She has conducted scientific research on the benefits of Alexander Technique for computer users. In addition to private teaching in San Francisco and Berkeley, she works with actors at Studio ACT and gives monthly free introductory workshops at Elephant Pharmacy.
