Witness the three chef finalists compete for the opportunity of a lifetime at the Bocuse d'Or Team USA National Selection. The rigorous competition determines who will represent the United States at the 2021 Bocuse d'Or competition in Lyon, France, the renowned bienniel international culinary competition. The Team USA National Selection is conducted in the same format as the prestigious Bocuse d'Or, with each team competing over a five hour and 35 minute period and concluding with an esteemed chef panel who will judge candidates' presentations. Competing finalist teams are: Head Chef Nyesha Arrington (Los Angeles, CA) and Commis Michael Sansom (Yountville, CA), Head Chef Jeffery Hayashi (Honolulu, HI) and Commis William Barrera (Honolulu, HI) and Head Chef Scott Muns (Washington D.C.) and Commis Yuta Umeki (New York, NY). A chef jury panel in attendance will include: Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, Gavin Kaysen, Mathew Peters, Robert Sulatycky, among many other guest chefs.
