WHAT: National Geographic Society Explorer in Residence Dr. Sylvia Earle, who has led more than 100 expeditions and logged more than 7,000 hours underwater including leading the first team of women aquanauts during the Tektite Project in 1970, will speak on the new era of exploration at Alameda South Shore Center, followed by an 11 a.m. brunch (limited tickets available at
https://www.blue-endeavors.org). 100% of the donations for the brunch will go to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for ocean exploration, ocean conservation, and education.
