Blue Bottle - Stanford

Cafes

In the early 1950s, Stanford University turned sixty-two acres of its hay fields into the bustling Stanford Shopping Center, which immediately became a classic of the genre. Today it's wonderfully defied the rise of online shopping, remaining a vital hub for students and tech workers from nearby Silicon Valley. As conceived by architects Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, our cafe there is intended as a respite, with simple and subdued materials.
