Look around you… Have you ever wondered how things are made in the real world? From the buildings, you live in, to the cars that move you forward, to the products that enrich your everyday lives. Autodesk is a company that helps people imagine, design and make a better world!
On Tuesday December 19th, 2017, come and experience a day with Black Girls CODE at the Autodesk Gallery with hands-on workshops focused on 3D design and 3D printing. You will also learn about how you can find a career in STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics!
Arrival: Meet on the second near the reception desk! Arrive promptly by 12:30- 4:00 PM.
All BGC events are geared towards introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as Tech Creators and Entrepreneurs. This event is intended for girls ages 7-17.
Registration begins at 12:30 PM. The event starts promptly at 12:50 PM. Participants don’t need to bring their laptops and refreshments will be provided.
IMPORTANT: Once you register for this event please complete the online student profile forms and emergency contact forms which can be found at this link on our website: http://www.blackgirlscode.com/parents.html. Please bring signed copies of these forms to the event.
