The San Francisco chapter of NaNoWriMo is dedicated to encouraging and helping the writers of San Francisco to write a novel length work during the month of November. What we lack in funds we make up for in energy and supporting one another through a madcap month of writing 1,667 words a day to hit the 50k mark. We're hosting a kickoff in advance of November to generate excitement around the month-long writing frenzy. Writers can get to know each other, share story ideas and advice, and generally just hang out. We'll also be raffling off gift certificates, books, and stationery to raise funds for the Thank Goodness It's Over party in December.
