Register now for a great day of golf (Monday Sept 29) benefiting a great cause (Lucile Packard Children's Hospital) on a great private course (The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge in San Jose)!
The HP and Agilent employee golf clubs proudly present their 20th annual Bill Hewlett & Dave Packard Charity Golf Classic at San Jose's Golf Club at Boulder Ridge on Monday, Sept 29. This is a wonderful event that golfers come back to year after year!
The tournament is in four-player-scramble format, with prizes for the winner of each flight. Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive, most accurate drive (closest to the line), closest to the pin, and - new this year - a hole-in-one on any par-three will win a prize (with a $6000 cash grand prize for an ace on the designated hole)!!
Registration includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a box lunch, and ample refreshments throughout the day. After golf, a banquet dinner will be hosted by Gary Scott Thomas, morning host on KRTY-FM; Gary will present awards to the day's winners, draw raffle prizes and name the winner of the grand prize (a set of mobile computing devices donated by HP), and preside over a silent auction which will raise funds for our charity. The auction will feature donated items such as Hawaiian golf vacations, sports memorabilia autographed by stars like football greats Roger Craig and Joe Montana and world-cup soccer legend Brandi Chastain, and a once-in-a-lifetime ride for two on the famous Goodyear Blimp!!
