Join @burritojustice and @enkohl, the co-founders of the Bikes to Books literary history bicycle tour, for a "virtual ride" to the 12 streets named for authors and artists named in 1988, on a proposal from from City Lights Books founder, and former SF Poet Laureate, Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
Follow us on Twitter as we "ride" from the comfort of home from South Park to North Beach, Jack London to Jack Kerouac. We'll post some pics and anecdotes of the tour route and each author along the way, and encourage our fellow riders (and readers) to do the same. Use the hashtag #BikesToBooks to follow us and to post, as we make our "stops." We'll be leaving at 1:00 p.m. sharp, and continuing to 3:00 p.m. checking in and posting along the way. Please join us!
