Special Olympics Northern California will host a fun day of cycling and suds with the 8th Annual Bike the Bridges and BrewFest at Martinez Waterfront Park.
The event will feature scenic rides and a craft beer festival to benefit Special Olympics Northern California. Riders will have the option to choose a 25-mile ride, a 50K, a 100K or a century (100-mile) route. All of the rides begin and end at Martinez Waterfront Park and offer views when crossing the Carquinez Bridge and Benicia Bridge. Local law enforcement officers annually play an active role in the event and will support riders with roadside assistance, emergency services and rest stops.
Following the ride, participants, guests and public non-riders will all be able to enjoy the BrewFest at Martinez Waterfront Park, complete with live entertainment and an array of refreshments. The BrewFest, which will kick off at 11:30 a.m., will offer a variety of craft beers from local breweries, complemented by food trucks and an all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet hosted by 96H Brand Catering.
